- Led by Sagisu himself, the THE WHITE ALBUM series reimagines beloved tracks with orchestral arrangements and other new elements, vividly rekindling the memories of the stories they accompany while breathing new life into the music. The series also includes rare, previously unreleased recordings, letting listeners fully experience the expansive worlds of these works.

Born in Tokyo in 1957, Shiro Sagisu is a composer, arranger, and music producer with an extraordinary 48-year career at the forefront of the music scene, which began with his work on T-SQUARE’s debut album. Over a partnership spanning more than 30 years with Hideaki Anno, he has contributed to every entry in the Evangelion series, earning a devoted global fanbase. He is also President and CEO of the tokusatsu and animation production company P-Productions, succeeding his father, Soji Ushio (1921–2004). In recent years, he arranged “Kimigayo,” Japan’s national anthem, for the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
